Junior QA Engineer

This is a hybrid position based in Skopje. Team members are required to be in the office three days per week, with flexibility to select their in-office days based on personal preference and business needs.

What You'll Do

Complete manual test cases and test scenarios with precision.
Assist in crafting and maintaining comprehensive test plans and documentation.
Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and QA team members to ensure outstanding product quality.
Participate in test planning, sprint activities, and release validation.
Support automation testing activities under the mentorship of senior QA engineers.
Investigate and reproduce reported issues to determine their root cause.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
Support production issue investigations when required.

What We're Looking For

Experience

1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
Solid understanding of software development and testing fundamentals.
Internship, university projects, or practical QA experience is considered an advantage.

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of manual testing concepts and software testing methodologies.
Familiarity with writing and accomplishing test cases.
Fundamental understanding of web applications, APIs, and client-server architecture.
Exposure to bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) is a plus.
Having a fundamental understanding of automation testing concepts is beneficial.
Familiarity with JavaScript or TypeScript is considered a plus.
