Infrastructure Security Team Lead

Overview:

SOFTSWISS is looking for an Infrastructure Security Team Lead to lead the Infrastructure Security team within a high-load international iGaming company operating remotely across regulated markets.

Purpose of the role:

You will be responsible for leading and developing the Infrastructure Security Team, defining priorities, establishing scalable security processes, and driving infrastructure security outcomes across the organization. The role combines team leadership with strong technical guidance to support security decision-making across infrastructure domains.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the Infrastructure Security team, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and strong execution

• Define and drive the Infrastructure Security strategy, roadmap, standards, and operating model.

• Prioritize team initiatives based on security risk, business impact, engineering capacity, and regulatory requirements

• Guide security across infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms, Kubernetes, endpoints, privileged access management, remote access, and vulnerability management

• Build scalable processes for risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and cross-functional collaboration

• Partner with Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to integrate security early and improve execution

• Communicate infrastructure security risks, priorities, trade-offs, and progress clearly to technical teams and leadership

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including experience leading and managing technical security teams

• Strong background in Infrastructure Security, Cloud Security, or Platform Security

• Experience translating security goals into clear roadmaps, priorities, ownership models, and measurable outcomes

• Proven leadership skills with experience in coaching, delegation, feedback, and team development

• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across cross-functional teams

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level

• Upper-Intermediate or higher Russian level

Nice to have:

• Experience securing infrastructure in high-risk or regulated environments such as iGaming, Crypto, FinTech, or similar industries.

• Experience maturing a security function from reactive execution to a structured, scalable security program.

• Experience leading distributed or fully remote technical teams.

• Hands-on experience with Zero Trust models, secure remote access, AWS, OCI, and Google Workspace Security.

• Experience with digital asset or cryptocurrency infrastructure security
